Homemade Brownies with Strawberries and Cream
Method
- Preheat oven to 170ºC. Grease a 20cm x 30cm cake pan. Line base and sides with baking paper.
- To make brownie, stir butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat until smooth and combined. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar. Cool 5 minutes.
- Stir in eggs.
- Stir in combined sifted flour, cocoa and salt.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until set on top and just firm to touch.
- Cool in pan.
- Meanwhile, to make coulis, blend ingredients until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve.
- Dust brownie with sifted icing sugar. Serve warm with coulis, cream and strawberries.
